Lauren Ash

 

Lauren Elizabeth Ash, born on the 4th of February, 1983, is an Canadian actress and comedian living in Los Angeles. She was originally from Belleville, Ontario. Ash is well-known to TV viewers for her character in Superstore as Dina Fox. Ash is also an alumna of the Second City Toronto Mainstage as well as Second City Chicago mainstage. Additionally, she is one half the sketch comedy duo "Cory!" She has been an Canadian Comedy Award nominee for the title of Best Female Improviser in 2007 and 2006. In 2012, she was awarded the award for the best performance by a Female - Television for Almost Heroes award. In 2015, she won Best Female Performance in a Feature Film for her performance in Dirty Singles. She also appeared on the Prank-show "Scare Tactics". From 2020 onwards, Lauren co-hosts her own podcast, "True Crime and Cocktails" alongside her cousin, Christy Oxborrow.
